We at Doreen Mernda Nepalese community are all about working together and supporting our local community and neighbours. As a part of 2023 Neighbour Day event, we are organizing community clean-up event followed by community morning tea.
The event will be for 2 hrs and will cover cleanup of parks, car parking area and common / shared spaces around Jindi Family and Community Centre.
We will start with cleaning up designated park and common / shared areas. This will be a group activity for the participants – which provides a very good opportunity to interact with your neighbours while working towards a common community goal. The participants will gather at Jindi Family and Community Centre after the clean-up event for social interaction and morning tea.
DMNC volunteers will work with council to organize appropriate disposal of waste collected from the event.
